Health You Challenge

I am at my highest weight ever 109 kgs (240 pounds). When I started this blog I weighed in at 105.7kg.

I have gotten up early this morning so that I can exercise and plan my day.

My goals for today are:

Drink 4 glasses of water
4 glasses of herbal tea (no sweeteners or milk)

Eat at one fruit, one vegetable and one yogurt serving.

I feel sad about my weight and about my ability to keep my commitments to myself. But I am not going to give up.

Hi--How did your day go? Did you have the water,tea,etc? I hope it went well. One small hurdle at a time. You are here and that's a step in the right direction. Your cartoons are very cute. Hope your foot feels better--OUCH (that would give me a reason not to exercise, hehe..) You will find support here. :) Good luck.

Hy, I hope everything is going well for you. The hardest step is the one that get's you started, just hold on through the first few days of keeping completely and cleanly on track and then the routine becomes natural to you. I hope things are easier for you now :)

I think looking back, feeling guilty and angry is a big part of what keeps me in the cycle of not being healthy. When I feel like I don't deserve to be healthy, I don't treat myself that way.

Small steps will get you there. And you're on your way!

The whole "healthy lifestyle" "diet", blah blah can be very over whelming, especially when we try to change everything all at once.

My recommendation to stay the course is try small changes each week in diet and exercise. Then blog. Blogging is a positive way to stay accountable and get support.

If you have a bad day, remind yourself you can start over at the next meal.

no, I'm not on a treadmill. Walk away the Pounds is just a simple dvd you can do in your living room, not ned for special equipment.
